You are standing in a steep-sided valley, facing a river that flows into a large loch to your right. Behind you on your right are some buildings, where a track from your side of the loch ends. Behind on your left, the top of the slope becomes rocky. [[Cross the river where it enters the loch, turn right and search the woods on the other side of the loch|25]] [[Cross the river where it enters the loch, turn right, and turn uphill just before the woods|24]] [[Cross the river where it enters the loch and go straight uphill|34]] [[Cross the river where it enters the loch, turn left along the river, then follow a rentrant uphill|44]] [[Follow to path to the left, going along the valley|45]]

You are on a high point on a high ridge. From this high point, you can see all the way to Loch Glencoul to the North. A path drops down into a valley, where the river flows into Loch Glencoul To the North-West is a slightly higher point on the ridge. To the South, a path leads downhill to a small loch. To the West is another small loch, up against the side of the ridge you are on. To the East, the ridge heads down to a loch with islands in it. You are standing with your back to a Loch. Paths from left and right merge in front of you, and follow a stream uphill. A mountain rises to your right and a small ridge rise to your left. You are on a saddle between two mountains. There is a bog on one side. With the bog behind you, there is a path going downhill into a valley in front, and a small loch behind to the left. You are on a path in some woods on a moderately steep slope. At the bottom of the slope is a large loch. There are four or five large stands of decidous woodland. At the top of the slope are craggy rocks. Standing with your back to the slope, on the right you see some buildings at the head of the loch. On your left, there is one more clump of trees and a line of cliffs. The path goes upwards on the left. [[Drop down to the shoreline and follow it to the left, to the last clump of trees|15]] [[Follow the path leftwards up and over the hill, then search the other side|24]] [[Follow the path rightwards, down towards the buildings|34]] [[Abandon the path, and head straight up the slope|35]]

This area is rather flat, and contains five lochs and many smaller lochans. It is hard to find a good vantage point. There is a mountain peak about 3km away. With your back to the mountain, a flatter large hill is in front of you, and a spur from the mountain to the right. In front, slightly to the right, streams flow from the lochs. On the left, a line of cliffs curves out of sight. You are standing on a large spur that projects out of a mountain. With the mountain peak behind you, on your left the spur drops steeply away to a lot of lochs of varying sizes. On your right, the spur drops away and becomes nearly flat, then the land drops from sight. Where the lands drops from sight you can see the top of a path. Further right, you can see a stream flowing down from a small lochan. Straight ahead, the spur drops away, and streams that flow from the lochs to your left drop out of sight over a steep slope. [[Go straight ahead and follow the streams there|35]] [[Descend left to the area with lots of lochs|34]] [[Descend to the right, walk to the top of the path and follow it|45]] [[Follow the spur up the mountain|43]] [[Descend to the right, walk to the small lochan and follow the stream|55]]

You have reached a footbridge near a small lochan, where three paths meet. With the lochan on your right, a river flows from left to right and one path follows it down the vally. Another path follows a stream that flows down on your left side. Aother stream flows down from the right side. You are on a peninsula with one clump of trees. This must be Aird da Loch, which makes the loch to the north Loch Glendhu and the Loch to the south Loch Glencoul. Behind you is a line of cliffs. [[Follow the shore of Loch Glendhu|24]] [[Follow the shore of Loch Glencoul|25]]

You are on the shore of a Loch. You can see a penisula across the water in front on you. [[Head along the shoreline of the loch|23]] [[Head up the slope inland|13]]

You are in a steep-sided valley next to a large stream, at a point where two streams flowing down the valley meet. A runs alongside the stream. [[Follow the path downhill|55]] [[Follow the path uphill|53]]

You are at the head of a loch, where a river flows into it. With the loch to you right, the river carries on up the valley on your left. You can see a path joins it, then in curves out of sight. Directly to your left is a large hill on the ridge. It must be higher than 500m. To your right, a river flows out of the loch are heads down a valley. In front, the valley rises to craggy rocks. Three streams flow down to the river, the leftmost forming a waterfall. You are next to a river at the point where it flows into a loch. Facing upstream along the river, in front is a long river valley. On the right, some distance away, is an extremely high waterfall plunging over the steep valley sides. Closer is a small stream flowing down from a spur. The spur descends from a large mountain in the distance. On the left, the valley is also steep-sided, but you can see a stream has cut a re-entrant through the cliffs. Directly behind you, the loch joins a much larger loch. Where they meet, there are a number of small islands. You are in a steep-sided river valley, facing downstream. A path follows the right-hand side of the river. To your right, the valley sides are covered in cliffs, though the line of cliffs curves away up ahead. To your left, above the valley sides there is a risge. On the ridge is a hill with very steep cliffs around it. You are on top of a mountain. From this high point, you can see Loch Glencoul to the East, and the valley that must lead to Loch Glendhu to the North. You are on a mountain. From this high point, you can see all the way to Loch Glencoul to the North. The ridge that ends with your mountain is to the South-East. You are standing on a high mountain saddle between two mountain peaks. The closer peak is higher and steeper, while the further peak in away along a gentle ridge. On one side of the saddle a path leads down to a loch. On the other, the path curves around and disappers behind the bulk of the gentle ridge. You stand at a T-junction of paths, on the side of mountain with a river in a valley below you. Facing down the valley, the river curves out of sight. On the right side of the valley a ridge heads to a hill with very steep sides. Behind you, slightly to the left, is a mountain peak that is the high point on a long, high ridge. A path goes up the mountain. On your left, a path curves around the base of this high ridge and turns in, heading uphill. Behind you, the path follows the river valley uphill. You are standing at the head of a loch, which is at the head of a valley. Looking down the valley, to the right is a mountain. Behind is a small valley which opens to join a large valley. To the left are a line of two hills with a saddle between them. You are at a point where two rivers join. Facing upstream, the right-hand branch flows down from a high valley, while the left branch is shorter and flows from a smaller valley. To the left of the left branch valley is a line of two hills. You are standing on a path, next to a loch in a coire. With your back to the coire wall, to the right the path climbs up out of sight. You are at the head of a loch with islands in it. To your left there is a path which splits in two, one route turning sharply uphill, the other heading out of sight over a smaller rise. To your right, a river flows out of the loch and into another loch. In front is a saddle between two hills.
